Just finished a new painting! Watercolor Batik on Ginwashi rice paper It is for sale on my blog and you can get there just by clicking on the image. Here is something new I am am working on. I love still life, especially apples and pears! I love the colors in this combination but what you can't see in this photo is that I made a little hole in it when painting it. Sometimes that happens in my batik painting. There are somethings I like about this and some things that I am not quite satisfied with yet. This painting was done on sumi rice paper which is much less durable than ginwashi paper. That is probably why I made a hole in the paper. I would love it if you would make some comments about this painting. Thank you! |
